From the Desk of: Robin Wakeham, Physical Therapist
Dear Friend,
There is no set time limit for how long lower back pain should last before seeking medical attention. Generally, if you experience lower back pain that lasts longer than a few weeks, it may be a sign of a more serious underlying condition and you should consider seeking medical attention.
However, if your lower back pain is severe, persistent, or accompanied by other symptoms such as numbness, tingling, or weakness in your legs, loss of bowel or bladder control, or fever, you should seek medical attention immediately.
In general, it's important to pay attention to your body and seek medical attention if you have any concerns about your lower back pain. A healthcare professional can help determine the underlying cause of your pain and develop an appropriate treatment plan to help you manage your symptoms and prevent further complications.
Thanks,
Robin Wakeham
P.S.- Don't forget you're just one step away from relieving your back pain...
